Terms of Service
Last updated: April 4, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the products and services provided by Plastic Factory (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including our websites, applications, and audio instruments. By purchasing or using any Plastic Factory product, you agree to these Terms.
1. Products and Licenses
Plastic Factory sells digital audio instruments as software applications for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, including AUv3 Audio Unit plugins. When you purchase a Plastic Factory product, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to install and use the software on devices associated with your Apple ID, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
You may not redistribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2. Purchases and Payment
Plastic Factory products are available as one-time purchases. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or through Paddle.com (our authorized reseller), depending on how you purchase the product.
For purchases made through Paddle, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and handles payment processing, invoicing, sales tax, and VAT on our behalf. Paddle's terms of service apply to those transactions in addition to these Terms.
All prices are listed in USD and may be subject to local taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but price changes will not affect existing purchases.
3. Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund policy for products purchased directly through Paddle. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase date. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.
For purchases made through the Apple App Store, refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.
4. Intellectual Property
All Plastic Factory products, including their design, code, audio content, visual interfaces, and documentation, are the intellectual property of Plastic Factory and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your purchase grants you a license to use the software — it does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.
Audio content you create using Plastic Factory instruments is yours. We claim no rights over music, recordings, or other creative output you produce with our tools.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Plastic Factory products only for lawful purposes. You may not:
