Plastic Factory (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information. We keep things simple — we collect as little data as possible and never sell your personal information.

When you purchase a product, join a waitlist, or contact support, you may provide us with:

  • Payment information (processed by Paddle or Apple — we do not store payment card details)

Information from our apps

Plastic Factory instruments are designed to work entirely on-device. Our apps do not collect personal data, do not require an account, and do not transmit your audio, presets, or usage patterns to our servers. If you opt into crash reporting, anonymous diagnostic data may be sent to Apple as part of their standard crash reporting service.

3. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate our business:

  • Paddle — Payment processing, invoicing, and sales tax compliance. Paddle acts as our Merchant of Record.
  • Apple — App Store distribution and in-app purchases.
  • Analytics — We may use privacy-focused analytics (such as Plausible or Fathom) to understand website traffic. These tools do not use cookies and do not track individuals across sites.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies required for basic functionality (such as remembering your session during checkout). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Purchase records are retained as required for accounting and tax compliance. Support correspondence is retained for up to 2 years after the last interaction. Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe.

Plastic Factory products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Automated Decision-Making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling based on your personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated through our website or via email.
